Accessibility, for everyone.
Last updated October 23, 2026
I want everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification or other assistive technology.
The standard I aim for
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the widely used standard for accessible websites.
What I've done
- Pages use clear headings in order, so screen readers can navigate them.
- Every page, menu, button and form works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Text and buttons meet contrast guidelines, and the layout works when text is enlarged or zoomed.
- Images have text descriptions, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields are labeled, and errors and confirmations are announced.
- Animations are subtle and switch off if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Each page is tested with automated accessibility checks before it goes live.
Known limitations
Accessibility is ongoing work, and automated tests can't catch everything. Links to other websites, including client sites shown in my portfolio, lead to sites I may not control.
Tell me if something doesn't work
If you have trouble using any part of this site, or need information in a different format, please let me know through the contact form or by calling (646) 397-3547. Tell me which page and what happened, and I'll work to fix it and get you what you need. I aim to respond within 2 business days.
